IT Management

A leading software development Company is seeking a highly qualified IT Management expert to fill the vacancy of General Manger.


The applicant must be a Sudanese who is involved in the current innovations of information technologies and the leadership and management of software development projects.

The applicant must have:

1-      An academic qualification in a field related to information technology

• A bachelor or postgraduate degree.

• A professional qualification is a plus.

2- A strong leadership skills, be up-to-date, in the field of ICT, and has a sound experience in the management of information systems and software development functions

3- A managerial experience of at least fifteen years in a leading position in technology en the banking or financial sectors.

4- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).

5- The applicant’s age should not exceed 50 years.

Job Summary:

A.       The GM reports directly to the Board of Directors of the Company, (BaD) which has the responsibility for the overall stewardship of the Company

B.      The GM’s main objective is to lead the general direction, development and management of the business and affairs of the Company

C.      The GM is responsible for realizing the vision and achieving the goals of the Company as set by the BoD, and reviewed periodically with the executive management

Responsibilities

1.       1 In conjunction with the BoD, to conduct ongoing strategies, planning, arid establishing long term goals for the Company.

2.       Takes the lead across all aspects of the Company to ensure the achievement of the Company goals and objectives.

3.       Maintains a positive and ethical work climate that is conductive to attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels.

4.       Assures sound budgetary and financial management.

5.       Assures quality of performance and organizational stability through the development and implementation of standards and controls, systems, processes and procedures, and regular evaluation.

6.       Promotes programs, products, and services that are produced in a cost-effective manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and financial returns.

7.       Keep the BoD fully informed on the status and condition of the Company and important factors influencing it.

8.       Represent the Company within the public anti Banking arid financial sectors far issues relevant to the Company.
