Position: Procurement Officer

Qualification Required:

• Male Preferable

• Age: 28-35

• Degree or relevant qualification in Business.

• MBA is preferable

• Supply Management

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience

• Prior experience working in Filed operations and events.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Proven written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic

• Proficient in writing and handling business correspondence

• Strong organization & time management skills.

• Punctual and multi tasker

• Work under pressure

• Records maintenance skills.

• Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports.

• Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.

• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items

• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers.

• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered

• Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.

• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

• Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

• Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• Vendor List supplier pre –qualification
