A major company seeking for qualified person to fill the following post.
Location of the company: Khartoum
Title: Accountant

Summary:
Accountant is to be able to assist in the implementation of policies and be able to provide adequate support in managing the finance functions.
Accountant is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the day to day financial and accounting operations of the company. This oversight includes day to day record maintenance, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the financial reporting function.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To assist in safeguarding the Company's financial resources.
• To prepare the Company daily report.
• To prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately .
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• To prepare the monthly adjusted trail balance.
• To supervise and sign all journal entries.
• To supervise and assure agents, and customer balances confirmation.
• To assist in following up the execution of the Contracts from the financial point of view.
• To assist in monitoring the Company's loans and reports.
• To prepare on daily basis banks position, cash position, daily cash flow.
• To check and signed monthly banks reconciliation, foreign and local suppliers’ reconciliation.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• Having worked in an industrial company
• 1 years’ experience or more
• Good experience in the areas of financial reporting.
• Ability to work hard and meet reporting time targets.
• Good Analytical and Interpretative Skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English (Speaking and writing).
• Excellent Computer Skills with having worked in Spreadsheets and accounting packages.
• Good Oral and Written Communication and interpersonal skills.
